Question Ups Rate Engine Integration With Otm

Dear Pals,

Is it possible to integrate UPS Rate Engine with OTM?

If YES, does any one done earlier.

If NO, is it possible to extract the whole information from UPS in CSV or XML format and the convert in to OTM understandable format and upload into OTM?

Cheers,
Lakshman

Re: Integration of UPS Rate Engine with OTM

In older versions of GC3 (OTM prior to the acquisition), we used to include some demo data, including UPS rates that got loaded into the system. I assume it's still possible to convert UPS/parcel rates and load into OTM, but am not sure this is the most efficient way to handle this.

I'd look to others with direct experience to respond; though I would think that using integration to communicate with the UPS rate engine would be a better option, as it avoids having to deal with rate maintenance in OTM.

Also in OTM 6.0, some new features and APIs are being put together around parcel. Not an immediate solution, but something for the future.

Ups Rate Engine Integration With Otm

Hi All,

We are using UPS Rate structure for Parcelling. Could you please let me know if it is possible to integrate UPS Rate Engine with OTM. Are there any particular documentation in Metalink for this.

Thanks in advance

Regards
Kiran
