Just a quick note to let everyone know that OTM v5.5 CU2 was released on 1/3/07 and is available on MetaLink as atch # 5730027.
If you plan on moving to this patch in the near future, I'd recommend installing this asap as there are MANY updates and changes in this patch (check out the huge README) and the UI has been significantly updated also. The updates are much to numerous to list, but here's some of the larger ones:
- Updated UI
- Significant new functionality
- Numerous integration changes
- OAS as App Server support
- SCA improvements
I've installed this into a client's test environment and everything went smoothly. The installation is straightforward and just like previous patches. The DB patch time was 35 minutes on a fast server with little transactional data -- though your mileage may vary depending on the size of your DB.
