Display System Date in Report Parameter

Hi,

We have Scenario where in Report Parameter Screen, for a Date Field, by Default current System date should be displayed. Then if the user wish he can select and change the date.

We tried acheiving it throught Report Cofigurgation by using Default Value and Query but not able to solve.

Kindly advice us on this issue.

Thansk and Regards
Muthahar

Re: Display System Date in Report Parameter

Hi Muthahar,

If you use the glog templates, the Report date will display in the paper layout. but i am not sure that we can change the date.

Rgds,
Kumar

Re: Display System Date in Report Parameter

Hi Muthahar,

The only other alternate option available is to disable the "Use HTML Form" parameter. This will disable the OTM user interface and will bring back your Oracle Parameter form and you can code the default value of the parameter with a query.

Please be advised that this will cause you loose the look and feel of OTM and the finders and other options. Care must also be taken in handling the parameters.

Regards,

Prabhakar
