Report Timing

Hi,

The report server and app server has been set to the time zone for our implementation. When you click on the "View Scheduled Jobs" the correct
time is displayed in the header, e.g. "Queue on server <Report Server Name>, on
October, 09 2007, 12:59:38.

However, if we look at the Queued At, Started At,
Finished at Columns these are showing an offset of -5 hrs, e.g. 10/09/07
07:59:38. Main impact is that if a user schedules a report to run at 09:00, it
actually runs at 5 hrs later

Can somebody suggests what settings[I ssume they should be on report server] command the timings for Queued At, Started At,
Finished at Columns Under "View Schedled Jobs" ?

Thanks

Re: Report Timing

Hello,

I've done a lot of reports work, but unfortunately don't know this setting. If nothing is available within the Reports Server config file ($ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf/rep_<instance_name>.conf) - then I would recommend opening an SR with Oracle.

Please post back with the answer you receive

Re: Report Timing

Hi,
We had the web server changed through which report server communicates and timings now seen under View Scheduled Jobs --> Queued At, Started At,
Finished at Columns now starts showing correctly. It appears that the timings are shown in these coloumns based on the web server time settings

Re: Report Timing

Thanks for the update!

That makes sense, since all communications are proxied through a servlet on the OTM Web server which processes and formats all of the data from the Oracle Reports server.
