Re: OTM SIG User Conference 2008: Presentations

Title : OTM performance tuning, with a focus on Oracle Database tuning
Speaker: Eric Rosenbloom - Technical Consulting Manager, Oracle
Eric Rosenbloom will discuss his top-down approach to OTM performance tuning, whereby one starts with a particular reproducible user-perceived performance problem, and then drills down to determine the root causes of the problem. The talk will utilize a real-life case study whereby a particular user-perceived performance issue is identified, reproduced, analyzed, and specific configuration changes are then made to eliminate the problem. The method is compared with the less effective bottom-up approach.

The carrier can fill in their rates and either send it via email or upload their rates into the system. Based on criteria set up in the application, the system will award lanes and rates will be created in the system.
