Hi,

Can we invoke a custom python script from OTM?

We want to write a program/script that modifies certain data in the database (removes unwanted characters). We can accomplish this by writing a python script or Java Program.


And we want the end users to invoke the script when necessary.

Is this functionality available in OTM? I am looking for adding a link or a button to invoke the script.

The one way I can think to tackle this without custom screens is to add a link to OTM via a modified Menu Manager. This would give you a link on the left-hand menu that could invoke this script (or any other web page).
