[SOLVED] Problem with Capacity Usage

Hi All,

I am currently facing problem with Shipment Usage. Despite having
eligible shipments falling in the start and end date of a capacity
limit, the Capacity Usage shows 0 usage for my Capacity Limit. Step wise
description of setup and flow follows:

1. Created a Capacity Group ID and assigned this to a Service
Provider.
2. Assigned this Capacity Group ID to the Rate Offering of above
Service Provider.
3. Created an Equipment Type, and assigned the above created
Equipment Group to this Equipment Type.
4. Created a Capacity Limit with above mentioned Capacity Group and
Equipment Type.
5. Also assigned a specific Lane ID to this Capacity Limit ID.
6. Capacity Limit is set to 5 Shipments per month for 5 months
starting from 01-Feb-2007. So the expiration date is 30-June-2007.

Then I built the shipment, and processed it to so that the status type
of SECURED RESOURCES is set to ACCEPTED. Now I go and try to see the
usage data for this Capacity Limit, the Usage is shown as zero for all
the 5 Capacity Limit IDs.

What I have checked:

1. Checked that the OTM planning process is picking up the correct
Equipment Group that is assigned to Equipment Type used in this Capacity
Limit.
2. Checked that the correct lane is being picked up by the planning
process. Also the Service Provider and the rate Service picked are as
expected.
3. Verified that the Effective and Expiration dates of the Rate
Offering is similar to those of the capacity Limit in use.

But still I am not able to see the capacity usage. I would highly
appreciate if someone can please guide me in this feature as to what is
going wrong. Thanks for your time in advance.

Regards,

-Salil

Re: Problem with Capacity Usage

Have you checked the "Track Capacity Usage" on the relevant rate offerings ? I think that that may have to be checked for the capacity usage functionality to be configured correctly.

Thanks for the suggestion. This indeed was the missing link. It worked.
