Paul,
I appreciate the information. We upgraded our java yesterday and that
corrected the problem.
Thanks,
Beth

Beth,
DST updates need to be applied at 3 levels:
- OS
- database
- Java
Java uses its own timezone information and so it doesn't depend on OS
for it. This means that if you update the OS only, your Java will still
use its own timezone info and might think that DST switch is on Apr 1st.
You can use the simple test from Metalink (note 409144.1) to see whether
your Java (JRockit) is patched to be new DST compliant.
Having said all above, I would say that you will need to upgrade your
Jrockit or use the TZUpdate tool from BEA -

All -
We have preformed the suggested changes for older versions of OTM (V5.0
Dec 2005 SR). However, the time within the application is still being
reported incorrectly, even though the server times are correct. We are
contemplating upgrading to JRockit 1.4.2_11. I was just wondering if
anyone else is having similar problems?
Thanks,
Beth A. McLamb
