RE: OTM utility servlets

Hi,

The ones that Oracle communicated to me were:

glog.webserver.beancache.BeanCacheServlet

glog.webserver.event.EventDiagServlet

glog.webserver.mediator.MediatorDiagServlet

glog.webserver.profile.ProfileServlet

glog.webserver.session.SessionViewerServlet

glog.webserver.sql.SqlServlet

glog.webserver.xalan.XSLProcessorServlet

glog.integration.servlet.CatServlet

glog.integration.servlet.WebPropServlet

glog.integration.servlet.XPlanServlet

glog.webserver.event.TopicQueueAssignmentsServlet

glog.webserver.processcontrol.ProcessServlet?userL evel=devl

glog.webserver.properties.PropertiesServlet

glog.webserver.security.fixup.SecurityFixupServlet

datasource.CPDiagServlet

Of course these servlets are to be used at your own risk!!!!

Best regards,

Subject: OTM utility servlets

Does anyone know of any documentation that details all of the utility
servlets that are available in OTM? I know of certain ones such as sql
backdoor, viewing/managing object locks, and clearing cache but I was
curious as to what other servlets might be available.

Thanks,

Re: OTM utility servlets

This is very valuable information to have, thanks!

One thing: is there an issue with the "glog.webserver.session.SessionViewerServlet"? Every time I try to use this (and how I would like to use this one!) I get an error which I have pasted at the end of this message.

Do I need to change a parameter setting to make this active of should it work by default?

The error:

HTTP Status 500 -

type Exception report
message
description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

Re: OTM utility servlets

If you are getting an error it is either that the servlet was removed from code or that it was not spelled/syntaxed correctly.

Re: OTM utility servlets

Hi Nick...the link I am using when I try to access this is:

<OTM URL>:4443/GC3/glog.webserver.session.SessionViewerServlet

I use the same URL for the other diagnostic tools and they all seem to work fine.

Thanks.

Re: OTM utility servlets

Yeah that's what I'm saying, they probably removed it from the code.

Re: OTM utility servlets

Well I hope they change their minds and put it back in. It would be really helpful to know how many people are logged in at any given time. And more importantly, how many are logged into multiple sessions.

Is there somewhere I can request this from Oracle?

Thanks

Re: OTM utility servlets

You can put in a request to support on it. Just make sure to mention what release and CU you are on. There may have been a reason why they removed it or it may not have worked correctly in the first place. If enough customers ask for it, it may be added back into the application.

[SOLVED] RE: OTM utility servlets

You need to create an SR with tech support and request it. BTW, a Web
Diagnostic feature that should do about the same thing will be in the
next update. (i.e. CU5)
