Thank you for the information. What other applications have you used to
accomplish this? Are these 3rd party applications interfaced into OTM so
that you can use the OTM planning engine? Our concern with a third party
is that you will obtain different results in the modeling exercise than
what OTM will produce going forward.

Hi Richard - we have used TMS modellling type applications from other
software vendors to do this type of work in the past. They have
allowed us to import data from Excel / Access etc and run very
effective optimization models to study the effect of TL v LTL etc.
It can probably be done in OTM, but as you have highlighted, it will
take a lot of effort and data loading / manipulation via CSV files.
