[SOLVED] Re: v5.5 CU2 Issues after de-installing Oracle Spatial

Just an FYI, I investigated the Oracle Spatial issue for a client and the
only problem I found that caused a conflict with OTM 5.5 was the public
synonym called DISTANCE which conflicts with a synonym of the same name used
by OTM. So it may not be necessary to de-install all of spatial only to
remove the conflicting synonym. I imagine that the fix in CU2 was to rename
the synonym in OTM to something else.

Re: v5.5 CU2 Issues after de-installing Oracle Spatial

Actually the fix was to rename the DISTANCE table to be DISTANCE_LOOKUP.
