Spot Tender/Broadcast Tender Process Within OTM

Hello,

Does anyone have experience using the Spot tender/broadcast tender
process within OTM? If so, do you have any lessons
learned/feedback/setup tips that you could provide for someone just
starting to work with it? Does the system save the bid histories of
each carrier for reporting purposes? Does an order release have to be
entered and planned into a buy shipment before a spot/broadcast tender
can be sent out? Or can you directly input the specifications for the
pickup into a buy shipment and send out as a spot tender to a group of
carriers? We are just starting to look at the possibilities of using
this functionality and any feedback on the whole process and setup is
greatly appreciated.
