Problem with changing the default color themes

Iam jst trying to change the color theme for OTM5.5 which is a pretty straight forward. I had created a folder inside the xsl and pasted the default themes.xsl and themesmycolor.xsl files. My path looks like this,

/otm55/apache/htdocs/xsl/test_theme/themes/

I have edited the <xsl:import href="file:themes/themesmycolor.xsl"/> in the themes xsl and assigned it to the user preferences stylesheet location which in turn has been assigned to a user.

When i logout and login again the new theme is not getting updated. I tried it creating in differnet folder structures and different xsl's but ended up with no luck.

Is it neccessary to restart the server to take effect. Could someone help me where i went wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem with changing the default color themes

Arun,

I dont think that it will display until the SR is closed. I went into another CSI account I have and it didnt let me view the metalink ticket, but as soon as I was logged into the account that I opened the ticket it was there. I'll let you know as soon as I have a resolution.

Re: Problem with changing the default color themes

Arun,

I received a resolution to the SR for updating the OTM 5.5 color scheme. Below is the update from support and resolution. We updated our test instance with the themesswanorange and it worked fine.

Hope this helps.

UPDATE
======
Hi Thomas,

The themes you are attempting to use are no longer supported. You indicated that you are trying
the following: themestechnoorange.xsl or themestechnogreen.xsl

The only supported themes (as of 5.5.CU2) are:

• themesswanblue (default)
• themesswanorange
• themesswangreen

This is documented in the Branding Guide found here: Oracle Transportation Management Documentation Library 5.5 (or on your installation unde
r - <otm_home>/docs/branding). Here is a snipet from this guide:

A major overhaul of the Oracle Transportation Management screens was initiated in the 5.5 CU2
release. Due to the complexity of the changes, none of the previous themes are s
upported. These
unsupported themes include:

• red
• silver
• gc3
• metalred
• metalgreen
• metalpurple
• metalred
• technoblue
• technogreen
• technoorange

In their place, three (3) new themes were created:

• themesswanblue (default)
• themesswanorange
• themesswangreen

Re: Problem with changing the default color themes

Hi Thomas,

Atlast we got it done and it worked for us. I just made a change in the <xsl:import href="file:myfolder/themes/themesmycolor.xsl"/> to include our parent folder path too and that worked.

Thanks once again for your time on this.

Regards
Arun

Re: Problem with changing the default color themes

Arun,

Glad to hear it worked. To answer your question from earlier you would need a restart of the system any time you update the color schemes.

Thomas
